Our Goal: Improve nutritional status and food security in the communities.
Strategic Actions:
- Farmer Training & Education: Starting community business ventures that generate profit for the community and can be used to meet community needs
- Community farms: working with village chiefs and community members to grow food on community farms. Crops from the farm are used to sustain the School Breakfast program and meet other community needs
- Food Security Enhancement: targeting households who are persistently food insecure and working with them to escape the cycle of hunger.
- Pamoza Farming Institute: modeling successful farming techniques on our 70-acre plot of land. The goal is to sell produce from the farm to generate revenue to support Pamoza’s programs while teaching community members new strategies.
