Our Goal: Improve nutritional status and food security in the communities.

Strategic Actions:

  1. Farmer Training & Education: Starting community business ventures that generate profit for the community and can be used to meet community needs
  2. Community farms: working with village chiefs and community members to grow food on community farms. Crops from the farm are used to sustain the School Breakfast program and meet other community needs
  3. Food Security Enhancement: targeting households who are persistently food insecure and working with them to escape the cycle of hunger.
  4. Pamoza Farming Institute: modeling successful farming techniques on our 70-acre plot of land. The goal is to sell produce from the farm to generate revenue to support Pamoza’s programs while teaching community members new strategies.
Community members are able to learn new strategies at the Pamoza Farming Institute
